LabsForHome is an innovative educational solution by SiMinds, bridging the gap between Technology and Science in schools. Our tangible and virtual system, presented in a game-like fashion, engages learners in a continuous competition. We assist and assess learners through extensive profiling, uncovering hidden talents and enhancing known abilities. Our mission is to provide every student with the technological tools for a fulfilling science education, fostering a love for STEM. We aim to build the next-generation workforce capable of navigating the future technological and scientific landscape.


With over 55 experiments mapped to top international curricula, students have access to a comprehensive range of educational content that is aligned with their school's syllabus.
The platform also allows for configuration, as educators can adjust the weight of questions as well as their difficulty, what modes the student can access, and much more. This allows the teacher to tailor the experiments to meet the needs of their students more efficiently.


During the experiment, the student will be given the chance to increase their knowledge not only of Science and Technology, but also of the world around them through the MindUP! feature. MindUP! is a system in which the student will gain general information that lets the student broaden their horizons and understanding of the world, allowing them to become truly global cultured citizens.
LabsForHome offers the option to personalize the platform to showcase the country’s cultural identity, which can enhance students' understanding of their heritage and history, as well as further propel the country into the spotlight of STEM education. While the student gets the option to choose his Avatar who will be his companion throughout his learning journey.


LabsForHome has a plethora of features for students with special needs (such as eye tracking control, voice commands, etc.) thus furthering inclusivity in the classroom and making sure that no student gets left behind.
Our experiment model utilizes our datalogger, a simple micro-controller, and various supporting sensors. With our cost-effective kit, students can explore a wide range of science experiments typically conducted in school labs. LabsForHome overcomes the limitations of expensive school labs by creating a dual-platform solution (virtual and hands-on). Learners can virtually try experiments multiple times, and upon request, receive a real kit for a seamless hands-on experience, providing a comprehensive learning solution.


Students will be tested in C and Python at various difficulty levels. Not only does this add another flavor to the system, but the codes that the students are tested in are directly related to the mission statement of each experiment; which makes it more scientifically focused.
